After my mom came for a visit in October we actually came back to with her to spend two weeks in Utah. Originally it was just supposed to be myself and Titan coming back for those last two weeks in October, but with the Government Shutdown, Broc ended up being home and able to come with us as well! October is by far my favorite month in Utah because of all the fun fall activities there are.

Up first on our schedule was a visit to Wheeler Farm. I hadn’t been to Wheeler Farm in at least 10 years, but I thought it could be a fun and educational experience for Titan so we made sure to fit it in.

When we first got to Wheeler Farm we decided to get tokens for the wagon ride and buy some bird seed to feed the ducks/geese/etc. If you want the ULTIMATE Duck Feeding Experience, visit Wheeler Farm. Holy Cow! There were so many ducks, pigeons, geese, etc. and they literally surround you trying to get the food. I may or may not have gotten startled a time or two as all the birds started flocking around us and even taking off into flight. It really was quite the experience and all for only $0.50! 🙂

Notice Ti has his legs folded up under him. He was afraid if he put them down he would step on one or a few of the birds!

As we ran out food and walked away, all the birds followed us. It was quite a sight.

After feeding the birds we decided to check out some of the animals. This new calf that was just born a couple weeks earlier. She had such pretty coloring!

Checking out the Turkeys. Ti wasn’t so sure about the fact that we’d be eating a turkey just like them in a few weeks for dinner.

No, I didn’t let Titan pet the horse due to signs saying they might take off a finger, but he sure wanted to!

Waiting for the wagon ride.

Some of our views on the ride. Utah really is SO pretty this time of year!

…and a quick shot with mom to prove I was there! 😉
