in fact, just tonight, i was getting annoyed by something and realized how petty i was being. so, rather than being grumpy and annoyed i made the choice to not be annoyed instead. that meant that rather than stewing and brewing over it for a while tonight & letting it ruin my night, i instead got to snuggle with my little man, read stories and send him off to bed in a peaceful and happy mood. plus, now i get to enjoy the rest of my night being happy and winding down myself.
