so remember how i said i’d post all about what i purchased at after halloween sales but then never did? i have no excuse except time got away from me. the past two weeks have literally flown by. i’m still in shock that thanksgiving is actually next week! i still feel like it should be in a few weeks! yikes! so much i want to do and so little time it seems.
i have actually already sent the majority of my halloween purchases down to storage and sadly forgot to take photo’s. oops! i thought about it, but then forgot. then i got really zealous cleaning one day and went to town boxing and binning stuff up. it was only after the fact that i remember i promised photo’s here in le blog land. thankfully i’m sure none of you will be upset. it’ll give you something to look forward to next year! we can all be surprised at the same time as i pull everything out again for october ’11 because invariably there is always something (or a few things) i had forgotten all about. it’s like christmas, but halloween style.
of course, i didn’t completely leave you hanging…
i did find a few photo’s in my archives! photo’s i took of items that i purchased on halloween clearance but are items that can be used all year round! to me those are the best kind of clearance surprises. a good thing to remember when sorting through after holiday sales is that if the packaging is “holidayesque” it doesn’t matter what’s inside the packing, it’ll still be on clearance. this is a good rule of thumb for candles (you can sometime removed the packaging), paper products, candy, etc.
