here’s the deal, i have a love/hate relationship with walmart. i cringe every time i walk in there, yet most of the time i do find some really really good deals, so i keep going back. it’s a vicious cycle i tell ya! 🙂 i guess there are pro’s and con’s to everything.
when it comes to their clothes i could probably never pay full price as they just aren’t that high of quality, especially when i know that for $6.50 i can get a super cute shirt on sale at some place like gap kids. it’s all relative to me. why pay $5 for a shirt at walmart when you can pay $5 for a gymboree shirt? i’ve shopped at each of these stores enough to be able to gauge & set my settling price. for walmart that price is $1 (for most things).
so what i do like at walmart is their clearance racks. i love that i can find t-shirts for the little man for $1 or under. shirts that i can send him outside to play in and don’t have to stress over them getting ruined. t-shirts that are perfect for play, yet still pretty cute.
a month or so ago checking the clearance racks i found the following three t-shirts all for just $1 each. you’ll notice, one of the shirts is 4T, no my son is not really big for his age, i just like to buy in advance when i see a good deal, more about that later though in another post…
now it’s confession time…i have paid full price for some things at walmart. of course by full price i mean they are regularly only $1! both these hats and the set of gloves were each $1 so i snatched them up just a couple weeks ago. these will definitely come in handy when it starts snowing around here. so if you are looking for some good deals on toddler winter gear…head over to walmart.
…i did also paid full price for these pj’s. i figured $5 for an organic cotton pj set was pretty good. of course, i am still researching to find out how organic they really are. i’m just curious…. but if they really are organic through and through, kudos to walmart! i just couldn’t pass up the super cute puppy!
