with broc leaving in a week posts may be scattered this week. with that said, today you get to relive titan’s first haircut from his aunt brooke. titan has had a few haircut’s in his 18 months but two weeks ago he got his first haircut from his aunt who is currently at paul mitchell working towards graduation and her license.
he definitely gave her a run for her money. at the beginning he had a cape on, but about two minutes into the haircut and one or two snip snips later, he was done with the cape. overall he did really well, but watching him squirm and move made me so glad i wasn’t the one cutting it.
for any of you living in utah county, i highly recommend brooke’s skills for all your hair needs. especially any of you in school or on budgets. broc and i went to her a month or so ago down at the paul mitchell school in provo and i was in shock at how insanely cheap it was! i paid close to a third what i normally would pay. incredible!
i have to admit i have never gone to a school before and let a student so much as even trim my hair. i absolutely shuddered at the thought. it terrified me, literally, and so i’ve always paid salon prices and if i am completely honest, i am so ocd about my hair that i was going to wait to have her do my hair until she was out of school and had a few years under her belt, but now, i am so glad i didn’t wait. she did a fabulous job – and i’m ubber picky! she’ll be there until this fall (october ish i believe) so hurry in if you need anything from a manicure to a full weave. she can do it all. just make sure to request her when you schedule your appointment. if you want details please send me an email.
side note: it is a school and so they are supervised and have to have things signed off – so expect for your appointment to maybe take a little longer than a normal appointment. just a little fyi. it’s totally worth the extra time though in my opinion. especially since right now you can get a $50 paul mitchell gift card on utah’s real deals for only $25 – that makes it a jaw dropping phenomenal deal for anyone who is having to cut back a little but who doesn’t want to give up taking care of their hair!!! talk about a steal of a deal for a talented stylist.

ok, in this last picture. he looks so big. when did this happen? we love how he still shrugs his shoulders a little and doesn’t really have a neck when he’s relaxed. silly boy!
