this is it. my 100th post. as this is something to commemorate in my book, i have decided to celebrate by introducing live to be inspired’s first ever giveaway!
first though, i heard about a month ago something that has stuck with me and been on replay in my mind since. what i heard was the following:
to inspire something is to breath life into it. when you inspire something or someone you literally contribute to their or it’s aliveness.
wow! to be inspired is to be alive and to inspire someone else is to contribute to their aliveness. in a way i could change my blog title to read “live to be alive”. it sounds so simple, yet i honestly can say, i’m not always doing that. i have so rarely been fully present in my life. rarely have i really been present to what is occurring right now, right here. this really hit home for me during the course i took this last weekend. the point was made that we are always living for someday and trying to get somewhere, but in reality…this is it!
this moment is it. this moment is all there is. it is what it is, and it is what it isn’t, and you know what, it’s perfect. the future, tomorrow even, is nothing more than an idea. what is real is the sensations, the conversations, the experiences we are creating in this very moment. i have heard this all before but it took this course for me to really be able to distinguish it and to drive it home. i also truly came to be aware this weekend that we create our lives and anything truly is possible. it was an incredible weekend to say the least.
i thought a lot during the weekend about what do i want to be the creator of in my life? what is it that i could possibly contribute to others? what am i open to now that i am aware that anything is a possibility?
for some reason my mind kept coming back to this blog, among other things.
i see this blog as a possibility to voice and stand for transformation in my life and in other people’s lives. a possibility to connect my friends and family, as well as, people whom i have yet to meet. a place for positivity. a place where possibilities are created. a forum for conversation, for action, for community. really i see one possibility after another.
so with all that said, i know of nothing that boosts energy, commenting, excitement, readers, etc. than a giveaway!!! it’s time to give this blog life, energy, and out of control relatedness. it’s time for you, my seemingly shy readers to show yourselves. to show how incredible, how inspired, and how alive you really are. i know you are out there and i know the insanely fantastic people you are so let’s let everyone know who you are. let’s get this party started. let’s let the good time’s roll.
drum roll please……
