happy monday. have spent today so far working & enjoying the spring like weather we are having (after a ridiculous amount of snow this weekend – only in utah…only in utah!). on the way home from work i made a quick trip to michael’s. i love their dollar bins. i always find trinkets and treasures to stock up on, or to put away until i need something new and shiny to entertain my little man with. this time around i found adorable wooden trucks and cars, a football playin’ duckie, & some funny faced, water squirting blowfish that i am sure the little man will have a ball with in and out of the tub.
all the summer beach toys on display at michael’s made me super antsy for summer and days at the pool, ocean, or lake. left on today’s to do list is finishing laundry & going to “hot yoga” at the gym with my husband. apparently it’s lifetime fitness’s version of bikram yoga? it will be my first time attending .90 minutes of 26 yoga poses done in series and then repeated, all in a room heated to 90-95 degrees?!? maybe those temperatures will cure my itch for summer? if nothing else i’m hoping it will help get my body back in shape for summer. it’s about time to go swimsuit shopping (or at least swimsuit window shopping). have my eye on this one over at boston proper.
