Earlier this summer Titan and I were able to go boating with my brother Conner, his wife Ashley and Ashley’s parents. All I can say is, I LOVE BOATING! I could live on a boat, seriously. Unfortunately, Broc does not feel the same way. He enjoys boating here and there, just not the idea of actually owning a boat.
My master plan is actually to teach Titan to love boating and then when he is old enough to really help (like 16 or 17), we can team up and veto Broc’s vote & get a boat. We’ll do all the work and Broc can enjoy just resting and relaxing! 🙂
In fact, for anyone familiar with the pencil game that tells you how many children you are going to have and the order of boys vs. girls, the pencil says our first three are boys! I figure that will be perfect for boating right? They can be like a boating team instead of a sailing team. Of course, the pencil also says we are having 6 children, so not putting too much trust in the pencil! 🙂
Instead I’m just trying to teach Titan to love the water as much as I do so he can help me out….maybe…someday! LOL
As you can see, his driving lessons are already going along swimmingly… 😉
Ashley’s Dad told Titan that he was Captain of the boat and Ti took that very seriously.
“…and then I push what?”
“…oh there it is!”
Of course it wouldn’t be a day with Titan without at least one of these poses!
Thanks again Conner & Ashley (and Ashley’s family) for a fun day on the lake!
PS: What we didn’t tell Titan is that the boat wasn’t even in the water yet! We were still on dry land! He thought he was in charge though & was having fun so that’s all the mattered. 🙂
