Just finished reading Motherhood Matters by Connie E. Sokol – perfect read for Mother’s Day! The book is divided up into bite-sized pieces of inspiration. The chapters are literally only a few pages long – much like my attention span these days with my little crowd of three under the age of four. I’ve been sneaking in vignettes in when I am nursing my baby and they are the perfect pick me up during my crazy days.
What I love about Connie Sokol is that she is so REAL. I’ve seen her speak at Education Week and other events. Her stories are incredibly applicable and her advice is 100 percent down to earth. I’ve also devoured her book Faithful Fit and Fabulous – another fast read full of helpful information and inspiration. The thing I love most about reading Connie’s books or listening to her speak, is that as soon as I am done and I want to get up and do something.
