This year we celebrated Titan’s 5th birthday in Utah so that we could have it at the Thanksgiving Point Megaplex Theater in Lehi where my mom works. Titan’s main request was that his party be with his cousins and at Grandma Cindy’s theater!

I loved how the party turned out, but I did make a memo not to plan any more of his parties for two days after Halloween! 🙂 Of course, crazy is what we do best around here, so that’s not to say it won’t happen again.

The birthday party invites. Ti LOVED that they looked “just like” an event ticket!

For Titan’s party favors I ended up lucking out and finding these cute popcorn containers at the Dollar Store. And, they came in a two pack. So they were only $0.50 each. (I’m sure they are way cheaper online somewhere but I was working last minute. So I was happy with $0.50 each!)
We filled them with party favors like a ring pop, silly string, chocolate, etc. (None of those are really movie themed, but that’s what you get when you have your 4 (almost 5!) year old helping you pick them out.

Once they were filled, we wrapped them in a cellophane bag, tied them off and attached a quick movie themed Thank You note.
The finished product ready to take to the theater!

Titan’s own private movie theater for the morning!
The Concessions Movie Pack that each of the “VIP Guests” got.

Everyone waiting for the movie to start.
I can’t say what movie we showed due to certain restrictions but Titan thought it was SO cool that he got to see one of his favorite movies again on the big screen! I mean what kid wouldn’t love to have a whole movie theater just for them and all their friends?! (Super big thanks to my mom for helping us make the whole party happen!!)

The entrance to the Director’s Suite where we had cake and ice cream and did presents after the movie.

Titan helped me pick out the color scheme and it ended up working out quite well. Can’t go wrong with purple, red and black!

The present table.

At the last minute I couldn’t resist putting some photo’s of Titan out from when he was a baby! I can’t believe how big he has gotten! Or how fast the last five years have gone!

I ordered these water bottle labels from an Etsy shop online and they ended up turning out so cute!

The cake table.

Another last minute grab was these white frames I purchased at IKEA for only $1.00 each! I can’t wait to use them again at other parties!

Titan’s Birthday Cake!

(Note: I ordered the cake from the bakery at Harmon’s and they were phenomenal to work with! They were awesome at helping me pick out a design and get what I wanted, and the cake tasted good too! I would definitely order more cakes from them in the future!)

The birthday boy enjoying some cake!

Some of our VIP guests!

My dad teasing Titan that he was going to take the rest of the cake for himself! 🙂
Present time!
Our little man! That smile melts me every time…even when he is wearing a dinosaur hat!

Funny story… my brother’s family gave Titan his first ever “fanny pack” for him to use on our upcoming vacation to Disney World. When Titan first opened it though he didn’t realize what it was and he said, “A PURSE?!!!?? I DON’T WANT a purse!” Luckily, Uncle Aaron jumped right up to show him what it was and to explain that he could use it on the vacation. Once that happened, Titan thought it was pretty cool. LOL

Family shots!

And, what party isn’t complete without some impromptu party games like “Get the Balloon off the Ceiling with a Random Archery Bow!”

You just thought I was kidding! 🙂
Last but not least, the cute Thank You notes that we found to go with the theme…and that we may or may not still need to send out!  ðŸ™‚
Overall I am so glad we did this party with family seeing as how in the upcoming years we have no idea where we will be in the United States. This was probably Titan’s last chance to have his birthday with cousins for quite some time. So I am glad he will have these awesome memories. I am also so glad this party was super easy to plan for, decorate and carry out…I may finally be starting to get the hang of these no-stress birthday parties after all! 😉

Halloween was a lot of fun for Titan this year because he got to spend it with his cousins who all live here in Utah. We started off the day by turning in his coloring page for the Harmon’s coloring contest, trick-or-treating at Harmon’s and of course getting some grocery shopping done!

All of the Harmon’s employees were dressed up and they had various stations you could trick-or-treat at. Yet another reason Harmon’s is my most favorite grocery store! (Now if they would just branch out to other states…)

Titan as himself.

…and now as Thor!

The many faces and poses of Thor!

The sunglasses were Titan’s idea. He thought they made him look more serious and tough! 😉

I know I am biased, but seriously, most handsome and cute Thor EVER!

Trick-or-Treating with cousins!

My brother and sister-in-law in full Duck Dynasty gear!

At the very end of trick-or-treating I had to run off to a class. I told Broc Titan had better still be in his costume when I got home! (And there had better still be some candy too…) 🙂

Family shot!

Thor and all his loot! The neighborhood I grew up in did not disappoint!

Titan’s organized candy. ‘Cause every 4 year old groups and counts their candy, right?!

Can we say, “Sugar high for days?!?”

Another “must do” item on our schedule was to visit Gardner Village! Gardner Village is BY FAR my most favorite place on the planet during the Halloween season. I love the witches, the decor, the lighting, the yummy food, the fun shops and just everything about the place!

The fun decor and all the outlandish witches they have! Titan and his cousins had a lot of fun looking for the different ones.

The candy shop. We always have to stop in to try out their fudge! So yummy!

Titan and his cousin Lily.
Not sure what Titan’s pose is…some days you just get what you get! 😉

I found these wall tiles and was seriously tempted by both of them…then I remembered I don’t have $200.00 to spend on wall decor right at this moment! 😉

Confession time, I LOVE quotes and words. One day I want a whole wall of quotes in frames or on signs in my home. Since I don’t yet have the space for that, I settled for taking pictures of the quotes/sayings I liked instead. That way when I get around to creating the wall, I can reference these.

There are also so many good ones at Gardner Village!

Last couple, I promise! 🙂

After shopping we stopped in the Naborhood Bakery for some hot chocolate and cheesy bread. A tradition for our family!

And of course, Titan talked us into one of their pumpkin sugar cookies!

Which apparently he gave a big “thumbs up”.

What is one of your favorite Halloween traditions?
(If you live in Utah and haven’t been to Gardner Village in a while, I highly recommend you put it on your calendar for next October!)
