Last week I shared my favorite Banana Nut Bread recipe that I like to make and snack on during Conference. Today, I thought I would share a really easy and quick breakfast recipe that is perfect for any weekend morning where you are just hanging out at home with your family.
I grew up with this recipe and because of how easy it is, it has become a definite favorite of mine when cooking for my own little family.
Pull-Apart Sticky Bread Recipe
For this recipe you will need:
1 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons water
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup nuts (optional)
2 cans of Flaky Bisuits (10 ounce size)
(Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes)
Step 1) Melt the butter, brown sugar and water together on the stove until the brown sugar is dissolved and the butter is completely melted. Remove from heat.
Step 2) Find your bundt pan and give it a quick spray with Pam. (An 8×8 inch square pan will work as well if you don’t have a bundt pan.)
Step 3) Pour half of your liquid mixture into the bottom of the bundt pan.
Step 4) Pull out your biscuit dough and start rolling into balls. (This is a great step to include your kids on!)
Step 5) Line the bottom of your bundt pan with the biscuit dough.
Step 6) Pour the last half of your liquid mixture over the dough. Then, place in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees.
This is what your Pull-Apart Bread will look like coming out of the oven.
Step 7) Flip the bundt pan upside down on a plate and then serve and enjoy.
The finished product!
Like I said, super easy!! There are hardly any ingredients and you can have it all done and in the oven within 5-10 minutes depending on if you have little hands helping or not. 😉
Since this isn’t the healthiest of recipes, I do like to pair it with eggs for protein and some fresh fruit. Usually I just cut up whatever happens to be in our fridge at the time.
