i have a love/hate relationship with downeast basics. truthfully up until now it’s been more of a so so relationship. occasionally they have a super cute top or skirt, but i learned a couple years ago it’s guaranteed i will see 10 other women wearing the same top – in the same day. so it’s better just to stick with buying the basics from them, ie. my layering tanks and t’s.
it seems downeast is rather popular here in utah. not surprising in the least. they have cute, comfortable, affordable clothes that actually cover your body. it’s win win all around. i’ve just never been a fan of walking into a room and seeing four other people wearing the same shirt or skirt. no, i’m not exaggerating. downeast is that popular around here.i see it happening to people all the time. in fact, at one point i went through my closest and donated all my downeast items to charity. i was that “not a fan” of the downeast trend.
