i can’t believe this trip is finally here. it’s come so quickly. i guess that’s how it works when it’s a surprise trip. thank you, thank you broc for that. he has planned this trip all on his own, down to the very last detail. he has even done all his own packing and according to my standards – that in and of itself is the perfect start to this trip.

heaven. bliss. total relaxation. i can not even wait. it will truly be a happy easter for us as we sail away towards sunshine, pina colada’s, and sandy beaches. the weather forecast for the following 10 days is showing sunny and 85 degrees in mexico. moi perfecto!
will be totally tuning out of reality from now until approximately april 19th, as after the cruise we are in colorado for a few days home hunting, and then practically immediately upon arriving home i’m taking the advanced landmark course, another three day, all day, weekend. i am almost as excited for that course as i am for the cruise!
so no cell phone for me. or internet. nada zip zilch (especially on the cruise). i’m leaving all technology behind (other than the music on my ipod, a must have for laying out by the pool). this is time for me to focus on myself and my husband!
my books (the help & left to tell) and my pool trash ( life & style, body & soul, natural health, etc.) are all being packed. along with my sunglasses, yummy smelling coconut butter lotion, swimwear, and heels to go with my outfits for the dressier dinners. (oh the dinners! so scrumptious!)
i think my favorite thing about going on cruises is that you lounge by the pool in a swimsuit and cover up by day and then get all dressed up for a dinner & dancing (or a show) by night, and then you change yet again, to comfy clothes for a starlit stroll around the ship listening to the waves or you can even choose to cuddle up with a blanket for the movie on the outdoor screen.
there is always, and i mean always, something to do on the ship until the early hours of the morning, and staying up late isn’t a problem because you can always nap by the pool the next day while working on your tan. la la love it! love it all!
