i have a confession. i enjoy design and decor but i rarely find myself getting ecstatic or really inspired over weddings. i enjoy them, i love helping other people plan theirs, but really i find them all relatively the same. i can appreciate a well done wedding but it i am rarely oozing with envy, going “oo la la”, or jumping out of my skin i love it so much when i walk into a wedding or reception. (i’m just weird that way. even weirder, is my wedding was so simple and generic, you’d be rather surprised. that’s another story for another time though.)
then i saw the above magazine layout. j’adore. tres chic. perfection. i’m oozing with envy literally! i got chills. thank you z gallerie for posting this on facebook. it made my day. i’m in love. i’m not going to lie i may even save it to a file in my computer and try to talk a cousin, a friend, a niece (down the road), or someone, anyone, into giving me free reign over every single detail and letting me design something using this layout at as the inspiration.
am also loving the cake, the dresses, the hair, the make-up, the dark polish manicure & the shoes (oh! the shoes!) basically, i’m adoring it all. i mean the photo with the hair in a sleek modern ponytail with that gorgeous orchid instead of a veil. simply simple and simply perfection. it’s fabulous.
hmmm. maybe i can talk my sister-in-law into changing her colors and theme for her wedding in august that i’m helping a little with, i mean she’s already planning on green as a main color so it wouldn’t be changing it too drastically? what do you say brooke? oh i’m totally kidding. sort of.
