happy memorial day everyone!

we’ve been celebrating this weekend with some shopping at the outlets, lots of food & a ten mile bike ride!

first off, i honestly can’t say enough how much i love the outlets! this shopping trip i picked up over $300.00 worth of clothing for around $80! memorial day weekend really is a great time to shop. i mean when else can you get a super cute shirt at banana republic for less than $4.00!

there were sales, sales & more sales everywhere you turned! broc was a little unsure about one or two of the items but when i showed him a cream colored jacket that was once $100 and was now only $20 at banana republic even he understood! (well understood a little more than usual…lol)

any way, that was all saturday, and then today the whole parker family took a ten mile bike road. it was perfect weather and a really fun morning. we had so much fun today that broc and i are determined to take our bikes out once a week when we get back in august. well, at least until the weather turns bad. here are some photo’s from the ride:

we stopped to take some pictures and ti guy was a little unsure on the bike seat, so he was holding onto dad for dear life! lol

the next set of pictures is ti guy checking out a thomas the engine train that was set up in some gardens along the bike path. ti loved seeing the train!

…and this about sums up titan’s entire ride. i packed him a few snacks and when we got home ALL of them were gone. i’m fairly certain for the entire ten miles all he did was snack! sill boy!

**oh, and about the full pack of diapers crammed in there with him. i forgot to pack some diapers for the ride and so we made a quick stop at target to grab some. all i can say is “ouch!” i haven’t paid full price for diapers in a while and it hurt. in fact, we decided to keep the packaging intact unless absolutely necessary, so we could return them if we didn’t need them. that’s why they are still in the bag and fully intact for the ride! thankfully, they were not needed so they will be going back tomorrow. i so do not like paying $9 for something i know i can get for around $4! 🙂
