what happens when you pack up and move to utah for almost two months of your summer…
…spend part of that time at disneyland…another part in las vegas…yet another part at bear lake… and a last part in st. george…
…plus in between attempt to fit in normal work hours (because my job is awesome like that and i can work anywhere there’s internet…love) & car shopping (because oh wait, apparently a timing belt snapping is kind of a REALLY big deal…) and a toddler who has decided to adopt a strict “no napping in utah” policy…

i tried. i tried to get back on. get back into the groove. i even promised in a few posts that i was back. ready to go again…
…but there just just something about summer in utah that kept me away, and i’m totally ok with that. truthfully somewhere between all the sand, diet coke, movies, sun, yummy food & car trips i kind of forgot about real life! it was kind of fabulous actually!
i’m usually a throw all caution and “to do” lists to the wind kind of person in the summer (don’t you dare mess with my pool time) but this summer we took it to a whole new level! i’ve decided it’s a good thing i’ve always lived in states where there are 4 seasons because if i lived somewhere where it was summer all. the. time. i probably wouldn’t get anything done! i mean who really can concentrate on matching socks, vacuuming, dusting or even straightening your hair when its sunny outside??? i sure can’t. or at least i never want to…
one thing i was reminded of this summer is life happens & you’ve just got to roll with it & take advantage of it. do what you can when you can! forget about the rest…especially when it’s summer! i plan on carrying this attitude at least into august. i am determined that our summer not be over until after labor day!
