Time for some October favorites! Up first, these comfy and cute pajamas from Walmart. (I honestly cannot even believe I just said that last sentence!)

If you have been following my site for a while, you know, I am not usually a Walmart fan. In fact, I usually avoid Walmart at ALL costs. I did happen to be in a Walmart a couple weeks ago though and came across these pajama sets for $10.00! I immediately grabbed them in the zebra print and the black with white trim and figured I’d give them a try. I seriously had my doubts as to how they would wear, wash, etc. but figured I could always just return them if they didn’t work out. Plus, I mean, they were only $10.00?!
Working from home in a job that doesn’t require ever seeing anyone, I’ll be the first to admit that most days it’s a pajama day around here until at least 2pm. Invariably though someone stops by before then or I have to grab the mail, etc. and so I do try to at least wear cute pajamas sets that aren’t super embarrassing to be seen in. 🙂
I have been wearing both sets of pajamas for a couple weeks now, and have even washed them a few times, and I am happy (and very surprised) to say that they did not shrink and they are still just as comfy and soft as when I first wore them. Are they the most luxurious and high quality pj’s you will ever own? No. But for $10.00? You honestly can’t go wrong. I bought my sets in store, but I was able to also find them online. (Some sizes and styles have already sold out though. So don’t wait if you want to give them a try yourself! I don’t think they will be available online much longer.)
Another plus for these pj’s? They are awesome for nursing moms because they are button up!
Up next, the music group NEEDTOBREATHE! I just recently came across these guys (even though they have apparently been around for years) and have been listening to their songs quite a bit! I like that (so far) everything I’ve listened to has clean lyrics and I just really like their overall sound.
Plus, it doesn’t hurt that since I have Amazon Prime, I can listen to all of their past albums for free. If you have been looking for some new music to mix up your current selection, give these guys a try!
Also on my list this month? The Ladybug Game. This has actually been a favorite for quite a while! Broc’s grandma gave this game to Titan a few Christmases ago and even after all these years, it’s still a favorite that gets busted out at least once a month.
My favorite things about this game are that there is no reading required once your child knows the basic rules of the game and you can play the game start to finish in under 10 minutes. 🙂 If you have kids, this game is a must have in my opinion. And, it’s less than $12.00!
Last on my list this month? The Alex and Ani bangles! I recently picked up the Path of Life bangle and have been wearing it almost daily since I got it. I like the message, I like that it’s made from recycled material, I like that it’s stack able with other bracelets I own, etc. (And if you aren’t a fan of the one I picked up, they have TONS of them with lots of different designs! Just search Alex and Ani and they should all pull up.)
About the only thing I don’t like, is that you can’t make it smaller (it does adjust bigger). I have REALLY small wrists though, so that’s probably just an issue for me. I bought my bracelet on Nordstrom.com but then recently saw (thanks to an awesome reader) that they are also sold on Amazon, and for about $4.00 cheaper! YAY! Buy one for yourself, buy one for a gift, buy one for a stocking stuffer…you won’t regret it! 🙂
And that is it for my favorites this month! I have a few more, but I am thinking those will have to wait for next month! Still trying to get caught up on school work, laundry, etc. around here after our vaca in Utah. So posts this will have to be quick and short! 🙂
What have been some of your favorite things this month???
