In 5th grade I had a teacher who would let you check out books from her massive book collection and all I remember doing after school that year was checking out a new book each afternoon (I averaged a book a day) and then going home and reading the day & sometimes night away. Books have always had a magical power for me. They can take you anywhere any time & while I know we live in the digital age, there is just still something about holding an actual book in my hands that I will always love.
